Original Caption
"What a lunar landscape! Peter-Josef Lenné, when landscaping the Klosterbergegarten between 1924 and 1826, dreamt of extending the park as far as the river. However, referred to locally as the Magistratsstrecke, this area was needed for railway construction from 1837. During East German times, the grounds were used to unload, store and load briquettes for heating of flats." (from: Stadt im Wandel.
