At the border crossing between Lauenstein, a part of the Bavarian city Ludwigsstadt, and the Thuringian town of Probstzella. The border crossing was opened to pedestrian and road traffic on 12 and 13 November, 1989, respectively. The photo was taken near Falkenstein cliff, after which the border crossing was named.
